I watched the DVD yesterday and it was really, really good. You don’t realize how much our reception of sound is obscured by visual stimuli until the visual is static and it is the sound that is moving. The photography was breathtaking on my big TV. The sound was so accurate that the dogs were in turn mesmerized, unsure, and barking at the windows to get at the invaders. The wolf and the geese were particular favorites. I could not help imagining Kathy Turco sitting for hours – or 25 years -- waiting to get those sounds just right.

This DVD is a rare gift that in less than an hour will put you at piece with yourself by immersing you in one of the most beautiful place in the world. No talking, just beautiful imagery and natural sounds accompanied by perfectly undertone music. Like the previous reviewer, my cat reacted to this movie which is a testimony to the authenticity and accuracy of the animal sounds. Thank you for sharing this unique experience!
